This recipe delivers a rich and satisfying pasta dish featuring tender chicken served over rigatoni in a luxurious, cheesy cream sauce.
Ingredients
- •2 Chicken breasts
- •2 tablespoons Olive oil
- • Garlic powder
- • Salt
- • Black pepper
- • Kinder’s Garlic Parmesan seasoning
- • Paprika
- • Chili flakes
- •3 cloves Garlic
- •¼ cup Chicken stock
- •3 tablespoons Butter
- • Flour
- •1 ½ cups Heavy cream
- •1 cup Shredded Parmesan
- •¼ cup Reserved pasta water
- •½ lb Rigatoni
- • Fresh parsley
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts thoroughly with garlic powder, salt, pepper, Kinder’s Garlic Parmesan seasoning, paprika, and chili flakes.
- 2
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until it develops a crispy, golden exterior. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and continue cooking until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
- 3
Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package directions until al dente. Before draining, reserve ¼ cup of the pasta water, then drain the remaining water from the pasta.
- 4
Using the same oven-safe pan where the chicken was cooked, add the minced garlic and sauté for approximately 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 5
Pour in the chicken stock and stir, using a stirring spoon to scrape up any browned bits of flavor from the bottom of the pan.
- 6
Add the butter, which has been lightly coated in flour, to the pan. Stir continuously until the butter has completely melted and the sauce begins to thicken. Season the sauce to your preference.
- 7
Reduce the heat to low and slowly stir in the heavy cream.
- 8
Gradually add the shredded Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it has fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy and thick.
- 9
Incorporate the reserved pasta water incrementally until the sauce reaches your preferred consistency.
- 10
Add the cooked rigatoni to the pan and stir until each piece is thoroughly coated in the creamy sauce.
- 11
Slice the cooked chicken breasts and arrange them on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
